I just returned from a class in Chicago.
I combined professional training with time spent working on an unrelenting nudge to evaluate purpose.
I am searching for where to place my next life footstep.
So I asked, where do I go next?
The whisper screamed
“SIT DOWN AND BE QUIET!!!”
It finally made its way between my ears.
For a proper context, this expression must be combined with the emotion of the deliverer–anger, frustration, desperation…LOVE.
I look at the “sitting down and being quiet” as a love story, a marriage of individual acts which when combined, consummate a birthing of the greatest personal spiritual realizations. I do frequently sit down; for my work and to rest. I also make sure I spend time in quiet, unplugged for thinking, thinking and more thinking. I have been hiding from the total quiet, the mind quiet; the place where we are told what is next.
No wonder I have been wandering, I refuse to listen for direction.
